  • SPIRITUAL DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE

Through the art of spiritual direction, I provide one-on-one companionship and the opportunity to walk alongside you in life as a holy witness.

  • In the act of ritual creation and lifecycle officiation, it’s crucial for the ritual itself to feel holy, meaningful, and sacred; that looks and feels different for each and every person. It’s important for each and every identity an individual holds to be represented in the ritual- you shouldn’t feel like you have to leave any part of yourself at the door when celebrating lifecycle events!

I believe in the act of co-creation and working collaboratively to create ritual. In this process, we get to develop and play with life cycles to make them meaningful. The art of developing such things starts with understanding where we came from. This doesn’t mean we have to follow the ritual as it first looked- we get to play, dream, and reconstruct! Whether it’s a baby naming, you want to honor a specific family member, a queer interfaith wedding, a natural mikveh ceremony, or a ritual for estrangement around biological family… I’m here to create alongside you.

  • In teaching and facilitating, I view myself as a guide and a learner at the front of the room. Ultimately, I aim to provide information and empower folx to be their own teachers. This means it’s important to recognize and pay attention to power dynamics.

When facilitating, I love creating connection among groups and building containers within which folx feel held and able to grow . Whether I’m building a consensus contract amongst a group or delivering a dvar torah or teaching a class on queering Passover or tutoring a b’mitzvah kid, I’m happy to dream of opportunities to work together.

  • My philosophy of spiritual direction is rooted in the ability to ask questions like “where is divinity in this moment?” and “how is this life event an invitation for learning and growth?” Through the art of spiritual direction, I provide one-on-one companionship and the opportunity to walk alongside you in life. It is my honor to be a holy witness. Typically, we will meet monthly for an hour at a time.
